Chocolate

Since this is a PG-rated blog (with an occasional PG-13, mildly bordering on TV-MA...j/k), there are certain things I will refrain from blogging about, but how I wish I could blog about, because this one topic in particular just seems to consume my thoughts ALL.THE.STINKING.TIME.

If you are my Father, you may skip the reading of this post ENTIRELY. Thanks.
~RESUME~

That being said, I guess I will have to blog about something else... like, say.... Chocolate? Hmm. Yes, I shall blog about "chocolate."

It has been a LOOOONG time since I have had chocolate. Granted, the last time I had chocolate it wasn't that good... sort of bitter, sort of bland. Basically, your average nasty-crap cheap chocolate.

However, that doesn't mean that I am not aware of how GOOD chocolate can be. I see ads referring to chocolate. I hear things. I've read things. Yes! Chocolate is definitely something I cannot WAIT to have again!

Sometimes I even get worried over my little obsession with chocolate. However, my counselor told me that women in my age group are in their chocolatey prime. So, we just think about and crave chocolate a lot! Ergo, I am NORMAL!!! Yipee!!! I don't know that anyone has called me "normal" in a long time! Tee hee.

Ok, so back to the chocolate... It has already been a few years since last having chocolate. I fear that it may be several more! What will I do? How will I survive? How many nights can I stand to play the piano until 3 am just to keep my mind OFF OF CHOCOLATE???

Oh sure... some say "take a taste here", "have a sample there". But that's just not how I roll. Partaking of chocolate has got to be done in the right place at the right time and with the right person. Conditions have to be perfect. I am not going to settle for dollar-store quality chocolate anymore... Nope. Not me.

I want the REAL DEAL!

Ok... enough said. Hope I didn't offend anyone with all of my talk on chocolate...
Just had to get that one out! :)

ahahaha! you're a chocolate lover too! i'd say chocolate would taste even better when tasted and enjoyed with the right person in the most romantic place and at the right time.:)

The really good kind of chocolate is definitely worth the wait. Imitation chocolate leaves you feeling empty inside after the initial tickling of the taste buds. You'll have the really good stuff again and you'll be glad you waited :D

Oh how weird is this...I was craving brownie chocolate and the ooo la la chocolate last night and feel asleep before either of them came home last night. Pitiful.

Oooo la la chocolate will smack you in the face, probably knocking you down and then having to apologize and take away your breath one day, I just know it.

P.S. The oooo la la chocolate has got to love and crave you before you let it in. Seriously, that cookies and cream chocolate don't cut it. You want the pure milk chocolate, the best of the best...

I gotta go...

You should definitely not nibble until it's the right time to eat the best choc. ever. Then you should take a week off of any diets and enjoy as much choc. as you can.

I think I might need some "chocolate" sometime real soon!HEHE!!

good for you!...for NOT wasting your time on the cheap, dime-store chocolate. waiting for the real stuff will ensure that you aren't left with that bitter taste in your mouth afterwards :)

that being said, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that the wait won't have to be too long...lack of chocolate has been known to drive more than one woman completely insane.

I bet you don't want chocolate more than when you shouldn't have it. Here's hoping you find your perfect chocolate soon (before you go crazy from the withdrawal).

You know what they say...absence makes the heart grow fonder. The same is true for chocolate I'm sure...The chocolate is that much better when you're off your diet :)

Oh I hate it when you crave Chocolate & you can't have it.
I'm proud of you for not giving into it's temptations.
I agree that it is much better at the right time & place & with the right person.

A year since you had chocolate? I have to have chocolate at the very least once a week to survive! You have great well power. You know chocolat is actually good for you. Especially the dark chocolate which is my very favorite!

Chocolate my eye.... you're not talking about candy... you're talking about another Sweet Thing.

Next time you are pondering about Sweet Things, think about your parents in that situation. Your mind will quickly go yuck and you can go to sleep.

I love your frank discussion on chocolate. That's great!

And if you like Rouge now, just wait until next week. There's a double edition of the Gift!

You crack me up. You are way too clever. 'chocolately prime' haha!

Chocolate in my house is like a chore....

As for you my dear friend, how about chocolate with a hot gym trainer?

That totally made my day! I think this is my new favorite post! I can just picture you up at 3 a.m. playing the piano just so you won't think about "chocolate"! You are awesome :)

I just worry that you are putting chocolate on too high of a pedestal. I'm sure the next time you have chocolate it will be better than before. But, the time after THAT will be the best you've ever had because you won't be nervous about trying the chocolate.

Chocolate is best when with the right person and at the right time. Sometimes I wished I waited for that right piece of chocolate. So, it is worth the wait.

Beside...chocolate from the trash is not what it is crack up to be.

Mmmm...chocolate...I think I'd go crazy without chocolate...hopefully you don't have to live too much longer without it...that chocolately prime and all.
