My Bucket List

If you've seen the movie, "The Bucket List" you'll understand this post. For those who haven't, here's a very brief synopsis. These 2 guys share a hospital room. While there they decide to leave and do all the things they have ever wanted to do before they die according to their bucket list - aka, before they kick the "bucket". With the New Year here, and everyone making resolutions (they probably won't keep), it got me thinking about things I want to accomplish at some point in my life.

Here is my Bucket List (so far):

  • Finish College
  • Teach High School Choir (I know, corny. But it's my dream job - truly.)
  • Write a book (don't know what about yet - any ideas?)
  • Organize local non-profit youth choir
  • Own my own music studio
  • Build my own home
  • Have financial freedom
  • Marry the Man of My Dreams
  • Learn to play the guitar (like really play, really good)

What's on your bucket list?

I just saw that for the first time the other night. The two of them were quite the pair.
I've been thinking about that alot, since the movie. Perhaps I'll follow up with a post linking back to yours.

1. own land with an underground house on it.

2. go on a mission

3. live in the Daudy house of each children at least once

4. Give them all money to make said Daudy houses in the manner to which I am accustomed

5. play oboe with a city orchestra

6. publish one of my writings... what the heck- publish all of them and make a bunch of money

Is that too many for a list? Well I don't plan on kicking the bucket any time soon. So TTFN

I haven't seen that movie yet, but I plan to see it.

Lets see:
1. Own a scrapbook/stamping store.
2. Have a house with a wrap around porch and name it Green Gables.
3. Be closer to my family. Not just see them once a year.
4. Volunteer in something I believe in.

That was a great movie love those actors! My bucket list would be:
1) Be debt free
2) Be able to help my children
3) Travel
4) Go back to school
5) Be at a point where I didn't have to work.

Round out my 3 month storage so I can work on pushing it to 6 months (it's hard with 8 people and a super limited budget and storage places!)

Get my kids all married off in the temple and having served missions if possible

Go back to school and get my R.N.

find joy during even the tough parts of life

worry less, be happy more

get out of debt and get a surplus in the bank

ok I'll stop now. And they had an opening for desi the end of january but I asked if there was anyway to get her in sooner and they found an opening in a city next door for next week, I took it!
so is this something you already say the neuro about or is it this COMINg march?? yikes!

Now I know what movie to watch next. Thank you!
As of my own bucket list... I need time to think about it for a while. One of my dream is I want to go to Greece someday but this is a dream that I want to keep as a dream in a way. You know what I mean;-)

A Happy New Year!
