Out of Hiding

Yes. I am ok. No. I wasn't really in hiding. I will say I appreciate the concern. I have had emails, phone calls and comments referencing my latest "disappearance" from the blogging scene. "It isn't like you to go more than a day or two without blogging." "Hope you're ok." "Is everything ok? Hadn't seen any new posts lately." and my favorite. "Are we gonna have to send out a search party?"

It's true. I haven't blogged in days! Here's why:

I've been super-busy. It's just that time of year. I had the family holiday party at my house last weekend, and I am in charge of the church Christmas party tonight. Throw in a little "I don't feel very well" mixed with a few "I didn't sleep very well" days and nights, and well, you just don't get any blogging done.

Actually, the ONLY reason there was blogging last week is because I had my whole Blogging week ready to go and scheduled to publish like a week in advance. It's true. I usually spend a few hours Saturday mornings or Sunday nights working on blogs. Some make the cut, some don't, and some are saved as drafts for another week. Then, I just get to read all week. It's quite a good system. The problem? I ran out of material! Scheduled material that is. With the way my life goes, there is ALWAYS bloggy material. ha!

Anyway, as soon as tonight is over, I promise there will be more blogging to come. I am already working on telling you all about the par-tay (NurseMom met Big-D), game night and playing "BOB", the update on my health, and all about Graduation Open Houses. I'll try to throw some fun stuff in there too.

So, thanks to all who noticed - and cared. Just know that I am still alive.

I didn't even notice! Does that make me a bad friend? I guess it helps that I saw you at work every day and knew you were still alive.

-calling search party off- She's over here folks..sweating over some funeral potatoes, ham and jello salads. Oh and the program (anyone have a "Josephy" loooking robe I could borrow?)

Hope it all went well. We just got back from ours and it was the best everrrr! So much work though.

I can't wait to hear about big D meeting mom (I can drop the nurse part and just call her mom, right?) But more importantly I wanna hear how you're doing. Take it easy, rest and come back when you have had a minute to relax. Do you ever get to relax for a minute??

I have been off the radar too, so sorry that I did not miss you missing too. I do what you do too, and I have the rest of the year scheduled so that I can spend the next 2 weeks with my family. I am so looking forward to it cause the man is going to finally take time off and be home with us. His company basically told him he was - I love that someone can finally tell him that he is a work-a-holic and needs a break. Take care and I hope that you get through all your festivities with a smile still on your face!!!
