Do you have any St. Patrick's Day traditions?
Looking back, I wish I would have started stuff when my kids were little. For example, I wish "the Leprechauns" came and "messed things up" in the middle of the night. I do always make sure they wear green to school, and I usually wear something green to work. Although pinching in either environment would now lead to a sexual harassment suit...
I know a family that served corned beef and cabbage every St. Paddy's day. Once I made my own corned beef and cabbage when the holiday was on a Sunday. I remember that my mom would make Irish Soda Bread or maybe it was Irish Potato Bread sometimes for the occasion. Did we ever eat green food? Maybe, I can't remember. Probably.
I do love Irish and Celtic music. Perhaps I shall listen to that most of the day. Maybe we'll make some "blarney stones" for dessert.
What else do YOU guys do? Do you have any St. Paddy's Day Traditions?

i watch darby o'gill and the little people. i think that's my only tradition
We wear green and do at least one jig throughout the day.
I wear green. I should look to see if Darby O'Gill is on On Demand or at Blockbuster.
We are so not Irish so, we don't have any St. Patrick's Day traditions.
I still make corned beef & cabbage with Irish soda bread every St. Patrick's Day (although it will be delayed to the weekend this year since I'm going to the Jazz game tonight). I also try to remember to wear green. That's about it though!
I never, ever wear green because that is "the little people's colour", but I do have a green leprechaun who usually sits on my window-sill, and that's about it.
We don't follow any traditions, except the one's that have been in my family for centuries!
I hate corned beef, and boiled cabbage is even worse!
I'm a dork and love St. Patricks day. I make corned beef and cabbage for dinner every year. We also have green food all day. I order green bread from Dicks and we have green french toast for breakfast or green eggs and ham. Then green sandwiches for lunch and green pudding or jello for snacks. We even have green Kool aid to drink. I know lame but the kids think it's fun. I used to have a St. Patricks day party with the little neighbor friends but haven't done it the last 2 years since the boys are at school all day now.
The leprechauns would always come and turn the milk green, make a mess etc. The kids loved it. Love your collage pic for your post!
We wear green, we eat green food, and this year I made a rainbow out of fruit with marshmallows for clouds and lemon jello for the pot of gold. Turned out super cute. I made corned beef and cabbage for the first time and I loved it but the boys didn't so much. I usually do nothing for the holiday, so I was an overachiever this year. I do not like the idea of leprechauns coming and messing things up...like I don't have enough to clean all day. Champ probably wouldn't even notice things were "messed up"! Hahaha.
I didn't do anything this myear but usually the kids like to set leprechaun traps throughout the house and somehow manage to drop gold candy or money. I remember whenh the kids were small I'd pre-green things like cereal bowls and raw eggs (poking a hole in egg and adding coloring to the insides) then when adding milk to the cereal it would "magically" turn green, and breaking the egg to find green yolks. I used to always go to this website that will show a quick blink of a leprechaun or some other irish folklore creature. The kids and I feel gypped this year because I wasn't feeling good and we missed out on all the leprechaun fun.
