We stood there facing each other, smiling. Me, like a foolish school girl and him knowing what I was thinking; knowing what I wanted.
He raised his hand to my cheek and tucked a wisp of hair behind my ear. I literally gasped and jilted forward ever so slightly.
Then we looked at each other and I giggled; feeling caught. He laughed sympathetically.
"Well, I guess everything is working correctly," he teased.
"Yes," I replied, feeling suddenly coy. "I guess I just got a little excited."
"I guess so," he teased some more.
"You took me by surprise, that's all," I explained.
"Oh, I'm sorry," he offered. "I'll try not to do that anymore."
"No," I protested, attempting my best efforts at puppy-dog eyes. "You can do that as often as you like."
"Oh yeah?" he asked, chuckling, this time tucking away the hair behind my other ear.
"Yes," I stated while biting my lip a little, trying to hide a smile. "Anytime. Actually, every time."
"Every time?" he asked in a teasing manner.
"Well...okay," I stammered, feeling my cheeks blush. "Maybe not every time. After all, I might get bored."
At that he looked at me smiling, trying to contain his laughter. I knew that he knew that was a lie.
I shook my head and through my laughter corrected, "I won't get bored..."
"I didn't think so," he concurred.
And that is what I leave with you today... hehehe....

Am I correct in assuming that the "hehehe" at the end is an evil mischievous kind of thing, like you know the torment of curiosity that this type of ending produces? Are you trying to get us to beg? I'm considering whether to give in ... if I knew you in real life I know I'd give in and beg ...
