Look What I Can Do

He already told us half the class will either fail or drop out. He even said that for those left, we'd be hard- pressed to pass, let alone get an A.

But he doesn't know who he is dealing with. He doesn't realize I do not like being told what I can or cannot do. Like my father once told someone when I was growing up, "what Emma wants, Emma usually gets." Meaning I am the type to make things happen and overcome obstacles.

So, Mr. I'm-still-wearing-jeans-from-1980 Professor, I WILL get an A in your class. Just wait and see. You are not going to know what hit you and by the end of the semester YOU will feel privileged to know ME.

Hehehe...

Ok, so maybe that's a LITTLE dramatic. But, I've already aced the first 4 assignments and the first test. Test # 2 is tonight, and I plan on acing that one too.

It's just how I roll, baby...

I LOVE IT!!! I absolutely hate it when people tell me what I should or shouldn't do, and what I can or cannot do, especially when they act like they know me... NO ONE REALLY knows me... Sometimes even to my mom I'm unpredictable... WAY TO GO EMMA!!!

I hope that he is not one of those professors that even though you do all of the work, they still don't give out A's.

yeah -- the professor did say that he grades on what we earn. Just doing the work won't get you an A, but quality work WILL. And considering that much of the tests and homework are like math, it's either right or wrong, he has no choice but to give me the A when I get all or nearly all correct. He said that there is no extra credit. But that if it comes down to the end of the semester and someone is teetering on the fine line of A-/B+ or B-/C+ etc., he will always bump up if he sees we have never missed a class and have actively participated. So, i think that's cool.
