Dancing with CATS??? Are you Kidding Me?

I don't really have anything against cats, per say. Well, at least not enough for me to wish any harm on them. That being said, I'm not a cat lover either. I mean, I can take 'em or leave 'em; either way. Perhaps that is why I just do NOT get this.

This little ditty showed up at our girls night white elephant gift exchange. I about peed my pants. And it wasn't just the pictures, but the writing is a little, what I would consider over the top. I just really don't know how else to explain it. And yet, it was/is a best seller? Maybe in New Zealand where it was written... but I still don't get it.     I have 4 cats plus the one wild one that had kittens in our shed. So, I do like cats. I DON'T GET IT either

    I once went to the grand opening of an art display. It was very fancy with caviar and champagne and everything. This display was on cats painting. I sat through the introduction and it was much like this book. RIDICULOUS! I don't know how they could keep a straight face. I mean I think it's great if people dance and paint with their cats but I think it's crazy that they get so into it.

    my kids MAKE the cat dance-- but the poor thing usually scratches and runs away. That book is a priceless white-elephant gift!! lol

    Um, I have 3 cats and I've never seen them dance. I've seen meowing, scratching, chattering, purring, jumping, mouse catching, and fighting. But, never dancing.

    Greenolive, this book says it is from "the same best-selling authors of PAINTING WITH CATS"!!! Lol!

    I love cats I have two indoor cats but I don't think I would dance with them. Very weird.
