I Heart Dots

I don't know why... but I Heart Dots...

Maybe it's just the way I "hear" myself talk when I write. Sort of like my voice is trailing off... like I'm not done yet...or I need to ponder... or something. And I know that punctuationally speaking, it isn't correct. (Is punctuationally even a word?) I mean, you're not supposed to just add a bunch of dots because you want to...or because that is how you "hear" yourself talk when you write...right?

I also know that the proper name for my little punctuation obsession is Ellipsis Dots. But saying "I heart Ellipsis Dots" just doesn't sound the same.

By the way... I also heart using three exclamations and/or question marks. I don't know why I like it; I just do. I mean, they are not nearly as fun as notating with Ellipsis dots, nonetheless I heart them. I don't even have to be angry to use them. I can just be like, "OMGosh!!! Are you Freakin Kiddin ME??? Congratulations!!! That is soooo cool!!!" Yeah, like that.

And finally, I heart saying 'heart'. I heart you...over there... yeah, you... I heart you!!! And I heart Tangy Taffy!!!...did you hear me???...I heart you too!!!

It's all part of what I like to call Emmaology. It's not meant to be understood... it just "is"...

    I heart dots, exclamation marks, question marks, smiley faces...all those grammatically incorrect things. haha! {I also love 'haha' & 'LOL' and ':0P'}

    What heart dots? You mean, you love dots? I like that! Heart dots. Anyways, i'm also f0nd of using ellipsis. For me it's like talking sweetly, or being friendly... I use that a lot when i text my friends. If im serious or in a bad mood, i use a period. If i feel excited, i use exclamati0n point. When angry, i use triple exclamation points. If i'm texting a loved öne or a friend, it goes like this. "have a good day..."

    I love the idea of "Emmaology"!!! See, we all do it...and sometimes we don't even know why!!! But these can be used in anyway...well almost!!!
    I must put up my hand and claim that I use them for just about every thing!!! If I'm surprised, I'll use them, If I'm shocked, I'll use them, even if I'm asking a question, I'll use them!!!
    Is that not why those keys are used for anyway??? One is just never enough!!!

    And I hear myself talk when I write, too. I also read this one blog from a lady from England and I "hear" her in a British accent. Is that weird? I don't know, but I like it. haha

    I heart the word "hoo-larious". I also heart the strike out feature, although I don't use it as much as I want to.

    I heart making kids wear shirts with collars to school. I heart making kids wear their hair down and not up, which is so uncool. I heart making kids wear the jeans today that they only had on 1hours last night.

    I heart ruining the life of all teenagers that live in my house.

    I heart dots and probably don't even use them right since I'm old and stupid and have no clue as to how the life of an 8th grader should be.

    And exclamation points!!!

    But mostly I love the *asterisk*! Most people pronounce it incorrectly like this: asterick. But *I* know how to say it correctly. It has so many uses but *I* like to use it to add emphasis. Isn't it so fun? I heart punctuation!
